Indoor air
Indoor air quality is affected by many different factors. While the condition of buildings and ventilation play a major role, human activities also have a clear impact on air quality.
In our city organisation, we have an indoor air working group. It is a multi-professional working group with representatives from the technical services, the facilities and support services, the occupational health and safety organisation, the occupational health service and the health inspectorate. The working group provides expertise on indoor air issues.
It deals with problems relating to indoor air in buildings, ongoing indoor air studies.
In order to map and monitor the indoor air situation in schools, an indoor air survey for pupils was carried out in spring-winter 2020.
