NOVEMBER´S VORSSI - PAINTINGS BY ANTON LINDFORSS 12.9.2025-30.4.2026
November's Vorssi is an exhibition of paintings by Anton Lindforss (1890-1943), with works from the Rakel Kansanen collection at its heart. The collection is complemented by paintings on loan from various museums. The main focus of the exhibition is on Lindforss's self-portraits and landscapes from the November Group, but there are also still lifes and portraits. The earthy colours and understated expressionism of Lindforss's paintings were already charming at the time, but the passing of a century has not diminished their appeal. The exhibition is curated by Veikko Halmetoja.
