Parking enforcement

Parking enforcement is responsible for enforcing parking and stopping regulations and imposing parking fines and other penalties for parking and idling offences.

Parking enforcement officers carry out enforcement in public areas and in private areas with which a contract has been concluded for the enforcement of parking on private land. There is no paid parking at all in the city.

Parking fines

The parking fines are €40. If the parking fines are not paid within the 30-day time limit, a surcharge of €14 is payable in addition to the fines.

How to apply for an amendment

A customer who is dissatisfied with a parking fines decision may refer the matter to the parking attendant. For further information on parking fines and how to lodge an appeal, please consult our online service.

Transfers of abandoned and end-of-life vehicles

The Parking Enforcement Service also carries out transfers of abandoned and scrap vehicles.
