Taipaleen tower house/property 915-16-9251-2 zoning plan

On the site of the old hotel in Taipale, an initiative has been launched to change the zoning plan to allow the construction of a 12-storey residential and commercial building of 8,000 m2.

The initiative is being taken by a private landowner who will bear the costs of drawing up the plan. The landowner has engaged a consultant from Arktes Architects Ltd to draw up the plan.

Opening of the procedure and participation and assessment plan

The stages of the plan and the opportunities for participation in the preparation of the plan are set out in the participation and assessment plan (OAS) (§ 63 of the Land Use and Building Act). The updated participation and assessment plan will be available for inspection from 9.10.2018. The plan can also be viewed in the Technical Department's showroom (Ahlströminkatu 6).

Comments on the contents of the participation and assessment plan can be submitted before the plan is made available for public inspection by e-mail to kirjaamo@varkaus.fi or by post to the City of Varkaus, Technical Department, Registrar's Office, P.O. Box 208, 78201 VARKAUS.

The preparatory documents for the land-use plan were open for inspection from 9.10.2018 to 8.11.2018 (in accordance with Section 30 of the Land Use and Building Decree).
