Report your treatment times electronically

The City of Varkaus has an electronic system for reporting childcare hours. This is done via an encrypted telecommunication connection in the Varkaus early childhood education CGI VESSA, which is logged in with a bank password.

In Cgi Vesa, the closing time for the registration of childcare hours is Sunday at 23.59. The programme locks the current and the following week. When booking childcare hours, an attendance or absence entry must be made for each weekday. In the case of shift care, also for the weekend. (absent or sick).

If there are sudden changes to the childcare hours, for example, if a child becomes ill or the need for childcare hours changes, the child's early childhood centre must be contacted. Sudden absences cannot be reported via CGI VESA (Reporting of hours of care) as the week is already locked.

Staff shifts are scheduled according to the pre-booked childcare hours. It will be possible to change these hours if the staffing levels required by the Early Childhood Education and Care Act are met.
