Are you interested in cultural heritage, art and history?

Do you want to be involved in valuable work on your own history, cultural heritage and the cultural life of Varkaus in a relaxed manner and in pleasant company?

Friends of Varkaus Museums is an association founded in 2015, whose motto is: fun and useful!

Friends of Varkaus Museums offers its members the opportunity to:

- be involved in developing the cultural life of Varkaus and increasing the appreciation and knowledge of cultural heritage in Varkaus

- get a peek into the preparations of exhibitions and work together with the museum staff on matters that interest you (i.e. volunteer work with museum collections and events)

- get to know the activities and excursions of friends of museums in other locations

- participate in association evenings, excursions and events, the topics of which are related to cultural heritage, art, history and the cultural environment.

As a Varkaus Museum Friend, you will receive a personal invitation to the opening of exhibitions and invited guest events at the Varkaus Museum Center Konsti, as well as a discount on the museum center Konsti's own products.
